AutoFill by Seniority (Start Date) 

 

You can set AutoFill to assign your Helpers to shifts based on seniority. It takes the most senior Helper (based on oldest Start Date) and assigns them according to their availability and time preferences and attempts to give them up to their maximum hours per week. It then takes the next senior Helper and considers the remaining unassigned shifts  to give the next Helper his most preferred schedule etc. and continues for each Helper. Using this method results in your most senior Helpers getting their most preferred schedule (based on the time preferences they have entered.)

 

To AutoFill based on Seniority: 

(Be sure you have edited your Helpers and entered their Start Dates)
From any Unpublished Schedule View:

1. Click AutoFill to open the AutoFill window 
2. Click the radio button next to "By Seniority"
3. Click YES AutoFill this Schedule 
    

Note the Helper Seniority Dates can be added when you add a Helper or at any time when you edit a Helper.
